John Kerry was named the worst statesman to hold the post of the US secretary of state in the past 50 years, according to a survey held among 1,615 US international relations scientists.
‘Foreign Policy’ magazine conducted the survey, Interfax news agency reported Feb 6.

Henry Kissinger, who served as the US secretary of state in 1973-1977, conducted the most effective foreign policy, the respondents believed.
He gained 32.2 percent of the vote compared to 0.3 percent for Kerry.

James Baker holds second place, followed by Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton.
