Gunay Afandiyeva highlighted the Foundation`s activity in preservation and popularization of historical-cultural heritage of Turkic speaking nations. She stressed the role of the Turkic speaking nations in the history and culture of the world, adding these people share the same rich cultural heritage, language, art, literature, traditions and national values.
Umutkan Munalbaeva said they are interested in further expanding cooperation between the libraries of the two countries. Umutkan Munalbaeva also suggested joint filming the documentary and featuring movies and emphasized the significance of further increasing the efforts towards popularization of the Turkic culture.
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov spoke of the activity of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in protection and popularization of the Turkic speaking nations. The ambassador stressed the importance of support of member countries in boosting the activity of the Foundation.
Following the meeting, Gunay Afandiyeva presented "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Road of life" book to the library.
