The ambassador added that TAP is a project that connects Europe.
“This is because we’re talking about a change in their sources of energy supply. As you know, gas from the Caspian will be delivered to several European countries via Italy,” he said.
The ambassador noted that due to the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Italy, he is confident that all the problems that may arise regarding this project will be resolved.
Massari added that Italian officials are expected to make visits to Azerbaijan, noting that it is not known as the new Italian government is yet to be formed.
“There are going to be visits within the OSCE as well,” he said.
