According to Avazova, on the platform #10, there are a total of 30 wells, two of which are out of order, 21 are oil wells, and 7 are gas wells.
Avazova noted that gas delivery to the wells is currently halted “because by gas delivery, oil is extracted from there. “The gas in the fire-affected wells contains up to a hundred different carbohydrates, which combust thereby”.
She also added that the accident has not had any considerable effect on the marine life.
“There is no threat to the Caspian fauna. We are carrying out visual observations, taking samples from the water, which will then be analyzed at analytic labs,” she said.
