  Baku to host meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey intergovernmental commission on economic co-op

The 8th meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in Baku Sept. 16.

The meeting will be co-chaired by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov and Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, the press service of Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az.

The meeting will focus on expanding economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The intergovernmental commission was established in accordance with the agreement on trade and economic cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey, which was signed in Ankara on November 2, 1992.
