Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took a number of important steps, which have led to the improvement of social welfare of the Azerbaijani population, and this work will be continued in 2020, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said, Trend reports Nov. 5.
Sharifov was speaking at the discussion of Azerbaijan’s state budget for 2020 in the parliament.
The minister noted that next year, a substantial increase in expenditures related to social security will be set in the budget.
“In 2020, salary increase is expected, including in the organizations funded from the state budget,” Sharifov added.
