 Azerbaijani Deputy PM and UNDP Resident Representative in Azerbaijan met in video format 

On June 10, a meeting in a videoconference format was held between Deputy prime minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Ahmadov and UNDP Resident Representative in Azerbaijan Alessandro Fracassetti, AzVision.az reports. 

The sides exchanged views on the measures taken to combat with coronavirus. 

In this regard, they have talked about the program of the UN on evaluating the social-economic influence of pandemic in all the countries including Azerbaijan. The Deputy Prime Minister said the presented program has been learned by the relevant bodies.

Ali Ahmadov has talked about the works done in order to reduce the negative impact of COVID-19 in labor and employment field, and works done in support self-employment and social welfare.

The participants also discussed issues on environmental and climate change issues at the meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister said that our country has systematically implemented the obligations of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change arising from the Paris Agreement.
