 Police departments relocated to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan has started relocating police departments to the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation, said the head of the press service of the MIA, Colonel Ehsan Zahidov. 

“The Khojavend District Police Department was relocated to the liberated Hadrut settlement of Azerbaijan under the decree of President Ilham Aliyev "On the organization of temporary special administration in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, Colonel Ehsan Zahidov stated.

Zahidov highlighted that The relocation of police departments in Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan and other regions, which were liberated from the Armenian occupation, continues in accordance with the decree. He also said that police departments will carry out special administrative management in each region as temporary commandants in consistency with the administrative division of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
