The YASHAT Foundation sent ten more severely wounded Azerbaijani servicemen to Turkey for treatment.

Taking into account the medical report, the process of examination, treatment and rehabilitation of the war veterans – Elshan Mustafayev, Elnur Babayev, Nijat Amiraliyev, Fuad Javadzade, Ruslan Amrahov, Yagub Gahramanli, Jalal Sadigov, Tural Shukurov, Namig Mehtiyev, and Rafael Isubov – will continue in Turkey, AzVision.az reports.

To date, the YASHAT Foundation has sent 112 Azerbaijani servicemen to Turkey for treatment. Of those, 48 servicemen have already returned to Azerbaijan after receiving treatment.

The YASHAT Foundation will monitor the treatment of war veterans until it is completed.

On 8 December 2020, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the establishment of the YASHAT Foundation to support the war-wounded and families of martyrs who protected the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Under the presidential order, the funds of the Foundation are formed through voluntary financial assistance (donations) provided by citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanis living abroad, other individuals and legal entities, as well as other sources not prohibited by law.
