Russia’s Lavrov to discuss situation in Karabakh with UN official

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths will discuss the situation in Karabakh on October 22, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Thursday, AzVision.az reports.

The spokesperson said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths will hold talks on October 22.

“The parties will discuss the provision of humanitarian assistance to Syria, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Ukraine through the UN, as well as the situation in Karabakh,” Zakharova added.
