Tehran says ups and downs in ties with Baku ‘over’

The ups downs in Iran-Azerbaijan relations are over, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said during a press conference on Wednesday, AzVision.az reports.

The minister affirmed Iran’s support for the development of constructive relations with Azerbaijan.

He noted that Iran seeks to develop positive relations with neighboring countries.

"Azerbaijan is Iran's neighbor. The ups and downs in relations between the two countries are over. In a telephone conversation with my Azerbaijani counterpart, we talked about moving in the right direction to develop relations," Amirabdollahian added.

"Relations will continue without tension," the top diplomat stressed.
