Over 3,000 Karabakh Armenians left Armenia: PM Pashinyan

More than 3,000 Karabakh Armenians left the Republic of Armenia, but the authorities will do their best for their return, the country’s Prime Minster Nikol Pashinyan said at a governmental meeting, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.

“I don’t want to draw conclusions in this regard. Perhaps many of them left to stay with their relatives for a while. However, in the long term prospect, as a first-priority action plan, we urge them to stay in Armenia. I hope that through our actions and support programmes we give our brothers and sisters a clear message,” Pashinyan said.

“If compatriots do not have the desire or opportunity to return to Karabakh, the authorities must do everything for them to stay in the Republic of Armenia,” he added.
