Azerbaijan, World Bank mull developing energy cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met Wednesday with a delegation led World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, AzVision.az reports.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank in the energy sector, the project to strengthen the transmission network in order to ensure the integration of green energy in our country, as well as the work carried out by Masdar to connect solar and wind power plants to the energy system.

Representatives of Azerenergy Open Joint Stock Company also attended the meeting.
