President Ilham Aliyev highlights historic step in Türkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood at Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline Opening

President Ilham Aliyev described today as a significant milestone in the history of Türkiye-Azerbaijan friendship and brotherhood, as he joined the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline inauguration ceremony via video link.

He added that just a year and a half ago, alongside the President of Türkiye, they laid the foundation for this pipeline in Nakhchivan — and today, they are proud to witness its official inauguration.
