“Today, Türkiye and Azerbaijan — two nations bound by brotherly ties — are jointly implementing large-scale projects,” said President Ilham Aliyev during his video address at the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline.
He highlighted key oil and gas pipeline projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, and TANAP, stressing that these initiatives have not only strengthened bilateral cooperation but also transformed Eurasia’s energy landscape.
President Aliyev further noted that Azerbaijani gas flowing through Türkiye today plays a vital role in ensuring energy security for numerous countries.
