"Nuland will join Secretary Kerry October 18-19 in Madrid, Spain, where he will meet with King Felipe VI, President Rajoy, and Foreign Minister Garcia-Margallo to discuss a range of bilateral and global issues," the US State Department said in a statement issued Sunday.
The following day, the US assistant secretary will travel to Athens to discuss economic reforms, the issue of migration and energy diversification.
She is also expected to take part in an international conference "Religious and Cultural Pluralism and Peaceful Coexistence In the Middle East" held in the Greek capital, organized by the country’s Foreign Ministry.
