Iran Diplomats Arrive in Vienna for Nuclear Deal Implementation Commission
Two Iranian deputy foreign ministers, Abbas Araqhchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi, arrived in the Austrian capital Vienna to attend the first meeting of the P5+1 and Iran commission on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), local media reported Monday.
According to the national IRNA news agency, Araqhchi will speak at a press conference following directly after the 11 a.m. local time (09:00 GMT) JCPOA meeting.

Iran signed the JCPOA with the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany on July 14, to ensure the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.

On Sunday, Tehran and the P5+1 group of international negotiators set the clock ticking on the nuclear deal. The so-called adoption day means the sides will start the implementation of the obligations under the agreement.
