President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev told Turkey’s Anadolu news agency that his country will purchase natural gas from Azerbaijan.
Speaking about the importance of Trans-Anatolian (TANAP) and Trans-Adriatic Pipelines (TAP), the head of state noted that the Azerbaijani natural gas produced in "Shah Deniz" gas-condensate field is very important for all European countries.
Plevneliev said that the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Greece and other countries will hold a summit in Baku on September 23-24. “The delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Southern Europe and Bulgaria will be discussed at this summit,” he said.
