Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s populist speech at the latest session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Moscow sounds like that of someone lacking basic geographical knowledge, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
By making statements like this, Sargsyan, the very person who was directly involved in the occupation of Azerbaijani territories and massacring of innocent people, and who has brought terrorism, separatism and occupation up to state level, is simply trying to blur the sight of the international community, said the statement.
“This criminal, who heads gangs in Nagorno-Karabakh unrecognized by any country, including Armenia, maintains close relations with terrorist organizations and is constantly deceiving the Armenian people, with the help of his contradictory statements in various organizations, asks for mercy and help for his “miserable people”, the statement said.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces, actively involved in the fight against terrorism and separatism, are doing and will do whatever is necessary to liberate the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and eradicate terrorism and separatism in those areas, said the statement.
