U.S. Air Forces to increase its presence in Baltics, including Estonia
“The United States Air Forces will increase its presence in the Baltic states, including Estonia”, U.S. President Barack Obama announced at a joint press conference with Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves in Tallinn, APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS.

The U.S. president said the decision to build the base is due to Russia’s policy on Ukraine.

According to him, Washington will continue to rotate an additional number of troops in the region and send airplanes.

“The United States has developed a plan to increase its presence in the region and the number of aircrafts, tanks, and personnel”, said the head of the White House.
