Turkish Chief of General Staff to Armenian MP: Disgraced is one who claims this unless he brings evidence
“The Turkish army has not fired a single bullet in Aleppo. Disgraced is the one who claims this unless he brings evidence,” Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Army Hulusi Akar said answering a question on the Armenian “genocide” asked by Armenian MP Koryun Nahapetyan at the 62nd session in Istanbul of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Hulusi Akar mentioned an example implying that the historical realities will never be falsified.

“People did not believe Galileo when he said the Earth rotates in its orbit but their disbelief did not change the reality. That the so-called Armenian genocide never happened is one such historical reality. No matter how often you bring up this issue, the historical reality will never change,” he said.

Nahapetyan’s next question about the alleged death of five people in Aleppo on Nov.19 as a result of Turkey-ISIL cooperation, draw a harsh response from Akar.

“The Turkish army has not fired a single bullet in Aleppo. Disgraced is the one who claims this unless he brings evidence. If you prove it, I’ll resign. I demand you take back what you said,” he said.
