Observers recorded the following violations: ballot boxes are installed near entrances, and all those passing by can clearly see who votes for whom; 3-4 citizens vote in the polling booths at the same time; unknown citizens were handing over pens to the voters and ordered to use them while voting.
Armenia is holding a parliamentary election for the first time since new Constitution was approved through a referendum in December 2015. The new National Assembly will have 105 deputies, four of whom—representatives of ethnic minorities.
