The official exchange rate of the dollar to the manat (AZN) will be $1 / 1.05 AZN till February 24, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan told.
“Under the decision of the Central Bank`s Board of Directors dated February 21, 2015, the official exchange rate of the dollar to the manat (AZN) was set at $1 / 1.05 AZN. The exchange rate will remain in effect on February 21-23,” said the official of the Central Bank.
The Central Bank`s letter on the official exchange rate sent to commercial banks was disseminated on social networks.
The letter signed by CBA Deputy Chairman Aftandil Babayev on February 22 says: “CBA’s bulletin of official exchange rates of foreign currencies and banking metals to manat as of 21.02.2015, published on February 21, 2015, will remain in effect on February 21-23, 2015.
