“Azerbaijan can consider Vietnam as a reliable partner in Southeast Asia,” she said.
Thi Mai noted the important role of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev and Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Min in the development of bilateral relations. She stressed the importance of peaceful resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh dispute on the basis of international law.
Thi Mai also commended Azerbaijan for supporting Vietnam in different times.
