Azerbaijani gymnast wins gold at Summer Youth Olympic Games

Azerbaijani gymnast wins gold at Summer Youth Olympic Games

Azerbaijani gymnast Yelizaveta Luzan became the champion of the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games, held in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires.

The athlete won a gold medal in the competition of mixed teams in all gymnastics disciplines.

Thus, the Azerbaijani team grabbed one bronze and two gold medals.

Earlier, judoka Vugar Talibov (66 kg) won the gold medal, while taekwondo fighter Javad Aghayev (63 kg) won a bronze medal.

The 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games are held in Buenos Aires on Oct. 6-18.
