Lebanese protesters storm Environment Ministry building, call on minister to resign
Anti-government protesters in Lebanon have stormed the Environment Ministry in Beirut, calling on the minister to resign, according to local TV.
The demonstrators are organizing a sit-in, refusing to leave until the minister resigns, according to reports on social media.

The protesters are reportedly part of the "You Stink" campaign, which has given the government until Tuesday evening to meet its demands.

Those demands include a sustainable solution to a trash crisis that flared in mid-July, the resignation of Environment Minister Mohammad Mashnuq, and new election to replace a parliament which has been in power since 2009, AFP reported.
