During the meeting, the parties discussed the restoration of the historical Khudafarin Bridge, Minister Shahbazov said on X.
“In Tehran, we had a fruitful limited and expanded meetings with my colleague Ali Akbar Mehrabian on the energy cooperation development between the two countries. We discussed the implementation of Khudafarin and Giz Galasi hydro junctions and hydropower plants [HPPs], Ordubad HPP projects, the establishment of an energy bridge between Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia, the exchange and transit of electricity, as well as the restoration of the historical Khudafarin bridge,” the minister said.
