COP29 president, IMF executive director mull financial reforms for climate resilience

The COP29 presidency and Kristalina Georgieva, the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), have discussed financial reforms for climate resilience, AzVision.az reports.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev, and Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.

The parties discussed expanding financial reforms and solutions for climate resilience.

According to the information, discussions aim to align global financial systems with COP29 goals to ensure sustainable, climate-compatible development.
