Gas supply from Georgia to Armenia to be suspended
The gas supply from Georgia to Armenia will be suspended Sept. 7-12, according to the website of the Gazprom Armenia com pany, RIA Novosti reported.
“The Georgian gas transmission company has officially informed the Gazprom Armenia company about the suspension of natural gas supply to Armenia September 7-12 in connection with the repair work on the main gas pipeline,” the message said.

The Gazprom Armenia company (formerly ArmRosgazprom) has a monopoly on the supply and distribution of natural gas in the domestic market of Armenia. This gas comes to Armenia from Russia by transit through Georgia.
