Russian military demands release of two servicemen abducted in Crimea
Russia`s defense ministry has demanded that Ukraine release two Russian servicemen abducted in Crimea by Ukrainian security officers, TASS reported.
The ministry said that the troops were kidnapped on November 20 and whisked across the border to the Nikolayev region of Ukraine with the apparent aim of pressing criminal charges against them.

“It is not ruled out that psychological and physical pressure might be exerted on the Russian servicemen to have them make ‘confessions’ needed by the Ukrainian side,” it said.

“We consider these actions taken by Ukrainian security services against Russian citizens as another flagrant provocation and demand their immediate release to Russian territory,” the ministry added.
