Groundbreaking ceremony of TANAP Turkish part to take place today

Groundbreaking ceremony of TANAP Turkish part to take place today

Azerbaijani gas will go to Europe.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the Turkish part of the TANAP pipeline will take place today.

The event is expected to involve the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Vice-President of the European Commission`s Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will also attend the event.

By the end of 2019 TANAP will deliver to Turkey and Europe 16 bn cubic meters of Azeri gas.
