At last count, there were 81 Russians and 51 foreigners on board the vessel.
Out of the 132 people on board the trawler, 119 were recovered from the water, 56 of them were dead. The fate of 13 fishermen is still unknown.
“The rescue operation in the Sea of Okhotsk involves over 2,000 people and 122 pieces of equipment, as well as 27 ships and aircraft,” the source said.
At present the search area at the trawler’s disaster site exceeds 8,800 square kilometers.
The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Trend April 2 that among the members of the trawler’s crew, there were Azerbaijanis, who are citizens of Russia.
