So-called "Armenian Genocide" recognition pulled from Israeli Parliament agenda

Speaker of the Israeli Knesset Yuli Edelstein on Monday pulled recognition of the so-called "Armenian Genocide" from the parliament’s agenda, local media reported citing Edelstein’s spokeswoman, Sputnik reported.

According to the Jerusalem Post newspaper, the Knesset was expected to vote on recognizing the so-called "Armenian Genocide" on Tuesday, but Edelstein, who stands for the recognition, decided not to discuss the issue because it was unclear whether the majority of lawmakers would vote in its favor.
