The implementation of the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Iran was discussed.

According to the Embassy in Baku, on May 29, a telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mehrdad Bazrpash.

During the talk, Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister expressed condolences to the Iranian side regarding the death of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi and the officials accompanying him as a result of a helicopter crash.

Meanwhile, Bazrpash thanked the high-ranking Azerbaijani officials for attending the farewell ceremony for the Iranian president at the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan and in Tehran.

The Iranian minister also congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28, Independence Day.

To note, an event was held between Iran and Azerbaijan related to the commissioning of the Khudafarin hydrocomplex and the opening of the Giz Galasi hydrocomplex.
