The International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition, "SAHA EXPO 2024," commenced on October 22 in Türkiye’s Istanbul, AzVision.az reports.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by the State-Owned "Azerisilah" Defense Industry Holding CJSC under the Ministry of Defense Industry.
The Azerbaijani stand showcases 57 types of defense products, including sniper rifles, mortars of various calibers, automatic rifles, heavy machine guns, automatic cannons, and grenade launchers, along with ammunition for these weapons.
A delegation led by Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry, Vugar Mustafayev, is participating in the exhibition.
SAHA EXPO 2024 is organized by SAHA Istanbul, Europe’s largest industrial cluster, and is conducted under the patronage of the Turkish Presidential Administration, with support from various ministries and military institutions.
The exhibition will continue until October 26, taking place across eight halls at the Istanbul Exhibition Center, which spans a total area of 90,000 square meters, including outdoor spaces.
This year's event features over 1,400 delegates, comprising more than 300 official representatives and over 150 business delegations from around the globe.
Attendees can explore more than 300 types of products on display, with over 200 document-signing ceremonies scheduled. Notably, some items showcased at SAHA EXPO 2024 are making their debut appearance.
