“It shouldn’t be forgotten that we started everything from scratch,” Simon Clegg, the Baku 2015 chief operating officer, said at a press conference on June 16.
S. Clegg said broadcasters undertook various commitments regarding the Games.
“Such games haven’t been held previously, thus there is no experience. We have involved great broadcasters, and it is the success of the Games. Maybe it is not as well as expect fans in some countries. But, we tried to organize broadcasting within two years. We are satisfied with the time allocated for the European Games in Europe,” he added.
