We have settled many issues in a bilateral format, and today we identify our relations as the relations of strategic partners, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
The head of state stated: “This is not just a phrase, it is true, and we purpose to further increase the level of our relations in all areas. As you mentioned, the trade turnover is rising. There is a strong mutual interest in economic cooperation. Of course, we are happy that our relationship covers many areas. Currently, we are implementing 7 roadmaps related to most areas of the economy, transport and humanitarian cooperation".
