Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Elin Suleymanov has met with Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament, the Embassy of Azerbaijan told AzVision.az.
The sides discussed the current state of multifaceted cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, opportunities for intensification of interparliamentary contacts and geopolitical issues.
Lindsay Hoyle hailed Azerbaijan’s relations with the UK, especially cooperation in the field of energy. He also praised the centuries-old tradition of tolerance in Azerbaijan.
