Azerbaijan has detected 5,223 new COVID-19 cases, 2,319 patients have recovered, and 21 have died in the last 24 hours, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az on Tuesday.
Up until now, 663,693 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 627,342 of them have recovered, and 8,755 people have died. Currently, 27,596 people are receiving treatment in Azerbaijan.
Over the past 24 hours, 15,945 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 6,172,333.
