  Georgia assigns special significance to Middle Corridor

Georgia attaches special importance to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, or Middle Corridor), Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Abdulla Aripov, AzVision.az reports citing GPB. 

Kobakhidze said Georgia is interested in boosting trade partnership between the two countries: "We can further activate the investment part of the partnership."

"We assign special significance to the development of the Middle Corridor. Georgia has a strategic location, historically linking Europe and Asia, West and East. We seek to utilize this strategic location and cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan might be very prolific and profitable,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
