Azerbaijani wrestlers will begin the participation in the Olimpiade: Rovshan Bayramov (-59 kg), Elvin Mursaliyev (-75 kg).
Azerbaijani sportsman Olga Ismayilova will take part in cycling track (sprint).
Also boxers Lorenzo Sotomayor (-64 kg, 1/8 finals) and Teymur Mammadov (-81 kg, 1/4 finals) will continue to fight for medal.
Fifty-six athletes are representing Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics, underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The games, which kicked off on Aug. 5, will end on Aug. 21, and will be followed by the 15th Summer Paralympic Games on Sept. 7-18.
