The FIFA World Cup Trophy tour – which will cover 50 countries – is aimed at giving football fans across the world an extra-ordinary chance to see football’s most coveted title.
The tour kicked off in September 2017 in Russia and will visit other countries across six continents, travelling 126,000 kilometers in the nine months leading up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup slated for June 14 to July 15.
The FIFA World Cup Trophy is awarded to the winners of FIFA World Cup while remaining in the governing body’s possession.
The trophy is made of solid gold and weighs 6.142 kg, created as a composition of two human figures holding the globe above them.
