Federica Guidi: "Italy has turned on "green light" for construction of TAP"

Italian government has signed permit for construction of TAP from early 2016

Italian government has turned on “green light” for construction of Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), said the Italian Minister of Economic Development Federica Guidi, AzVision.az reports quoting Italian press.

“Several provinces of Italy were protesting against TAP realization. They were concerned over damage to environment. However, Italian government has developed some programs in this regard and turned on “green light” for realization of the project”, the minister said.

F. Guidi noted that Italian government has signed permit for construction of TAP from early 2016.
