Some part of the 200-hectares of the territory of the Araz Valley Economic Zone in the Jabrayil district has already been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance said Azerbaijan's Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alakbarov at a scientific-practical conference on "Innovative opportunities for the economic development of the liberated territories" in Shamakhi.
Sahib Alakbarov stated that only industries based on innovative technologies will operate in the industrial parks in Karabakh adding that they will be given big discounts, including tax reductions.
"The implementation of priority industrial projects for the economic revival of the territories will also support the use of the region's natural resource potential for the Azerbaijan economic growth", he added.
