"For me, Karabakh conflict and Victory is the greatest victory for the Turkic world after Turkey's salvation war," Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of North Carolina, the U.S, the Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, known for his important discoveries in the field of DNA, member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, world-renowned scientist Aziz Sancar said at a press conference.
He said that it is the victory of not only Azerbaijan, but also the whole Turkic world.
"I closely observed the Karabakh war. Shusha is the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. I think that it will be the cultural capital of the whole Turkic world because of the historical reasons. I promised to visit Shusha and pray there. Thankfully, my dream has come true," Aziz Sancar noted.
