Azerbaijan, Russia mull expanding cooperation in agro-industrial sector

Shahin Mustafayev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister, met Friday with Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, AzVision.az reports.

During the meeting, the sides mentioned that thanks to the joint efforts of the two countries’ leaders, bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation have experienced high dynamics of development in the political, trade and economic, energy, transport and transit, humanitarian and many other areas.

Noting that Azerbaijan is one of the major suppliers of agricultural products to Russia, the sides also underscored that the agricultural cooperation between the two countries is also constantly growing.

The meeting also focused on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries across various areas of the agro-industrial complex, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
