The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan will continue to invest in the Russian and Turkish currency, in spite of their devaluation, the head of the fund Shahmar Movsumov said May 1 at a press conference.
He went on to add that investments in Russian ruble and Turkish lira are strategic ones.
“They are long-term ones and do not depend on the value of these currencies,” said Movsumov. “Therefore, we will continue to invest in them.”
