Ukraine does not recognize the “parliamentary elections” held on May 3 in Nagorno-Karabakh and deems it illegitimate,” says a statement issued by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
According to the statement, the “elections” held in occupied Azerbaijani territories cannot yield a legal result.
“Ukraine supports the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the principles of respect to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” said the statement.
