Azerbaijani ambassador dismisses reports of his death in Pakistan helicopter crash
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov dismissed reports of some Pakistani media outlets about his death in a helicopter crash in Pakistan.
I refused to fly to Gilgit-Baltistan along with the ambassadors of several countries as I was invited by Pakistani prime minister`s spouse to the event to be held in the Thalassemia Center today, the ambassador told.

“There was a technical problem while the helicopter tried to land and it fell on a school building. My name was on the list of passengers. As I was not among the wounded hospitalized they thought that I died. Today some media outlets in Pakistan reported that I died in the crash too. However, I called them and clarified the issue”, he said.

The ambassador said that the ambassadors of Norway and Philippine to Pakistan and the wives of the ambassadors of Malaysia and Philippines died in the crash and several people were injured.
