Cekuta said that the co-existence of the Azerbaijanis and Jews in an atmoshphere of peace and friendship in Krasnaya Sloboda (Red village) is a good example.
“There are other examples in history. This complex shows once again that the history should be studied closely and carefully. We should take lessons from it to prevent such cases,” the ambassador added.
The ambassador then signed the guestbook of the complex.

U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta has today visited the Guba Memorial Complex. The ambassador was informed about the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in that territory.
